Listening Session in Woodbury

  • Woodbury Central Park 8595 Central Park Place Woodbury, Minnesota, 55125 United States (map)

This Listening Session is an opportunity for our neighbors in Woodbury and the surrounding area to imagine a stronger community and explore our shared strengths.

We’re seeking residents in this area from different backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints to speak honestly about what matters to them as neighbors and to listen to others. In this structured conversation, we will explore what actions we could take together to strengthen civic trust and solve challenges for the common good.

Co-sponsored by the Hope and Dignity Foundation, this Listening Session is one in a series that will be held around the state for a new statewide project, Minnesota: Land of Neighbors. Land of Neighbors is aimed at combating unhealthy divisiveness in Minnesota. Organized by Braver Angels Minnesota, Civic Bridgers, and Common Ground USA, the campaign is funded by a group of Minnesota foundations.

Hope & Dignity Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing hope, restoring dignity, and empowering vulnerable communities. Through job-skills training, mentorship, housing assistance, and compassionate outreach, they help individuals and families build brighter futures. They serve refugees, immigrants, women, youth, and underserved families by creating meaningful opportunities for growth, stability, and independence. Rooted in compassion and community partnerships, they believe everyone deserves to be valued, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive. Together, they are transforming lives and building stronger, more resilient communities.
