This Listening Session is an opportunity for our neighbors in Northeast Minneapolis and the surrounding area to imagine a stronger community and explore our shared strengths.

We’re seeking residents in this area from different backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints to speak honestly about what matters to them as neighbors and to listen to others. In this structured conversation, we will explore what actions we could take together to strengthen civic trust and solve challenges for the common good.

Co-sponsored by the Compassion Collective MN, this Listening Session is one in a series that will be held around the state for a new statewide project, Minnesota: Land of Neighbors. Land of Neighbors is aimed at combating unhealthy divisiveness in Minnesota. Organized by Braver Angels Minnesota, Civic Bridgers, and Common Ground USA, the campaign is funded by a group of Minnesota foundations.

The Compassion Collective MN meets people where they are—with authenticity, compassion, and without judgment. They create space for people to be fully themselves while supporting them in creating meaningful, lasting change.
